Tish Rata

Tish is a strong, dynamic Learning Assistant who brings energy, heart, and dedication to everything she does at Putāruru Primary School. She provides exceptional support for our tamariki — both in the classroom and out in the playground.

Tish is especially loved for her organisation of lunchtime sports, where she creates opportunities for fun, teamwork, and active play. In the classroom, she supports learning with care, consistency, and a deep understanding of what tamariki need to thrive.

With her warm personality, positive attitude, and ability to connect with children, it’s no surprise that our tamariki absolutely love her. Tish is a much-valued part of our school whānau.
