Manukura – Our School Leaders

At Putāruru Primary School, we believe in growing confident, responsible leaders who lead with heart and purpose. Our Manukura are ākonga who have been recognised for their positive attitude, role-modelling of school values, and commitment to serving others.

These student leaders represent our kura with pride, supporting school events, welcoming visitors, and helping to build a strong sense of kotahitanga (unity) across the school. Through their leadership roles, they learn important skills such as communication, teamwork, and service – empowering them to lead today and into the future.
