Jo Baird is a passionate and inclusive kaiako at Putāruru Primary School who brings te ao Māori into her teaching in meaningful and authentic ways. She is deeply committed to creating a classroom environment where every child feels seen, supported, and empowered to be their best self.

Jo’s nurturing approach, combined with her love for integrating culture and identity into learning, helps tamariki grow in confidence and thrive both socially and academically. Her warmth and dedication make her a cherished member of our teaching team.
